How a visit works

Consultation with a dermatologist

Every patient is seen by one of five board-certified dermatologists, not by a consultant. The plan is written by the physician who will treat you.

Analysis before the plan

Skin thickness, elasticity, hydration, texture, pigment depth or scar structure are examined before any device is chosen.

Combination, not a single machine

Treatments with different mechanisms and depths are combined where the skin needs it — and withheld where it does not.

Staged review

Progress is reviewed at set intervals. Courses are adjusted against what the skin actually did, not against a package.

Questions we are actually asked

Are the doctors really all dermatologists?

Yes. All five physicians are board-certified dermatologists (피부과 전문의). Dr. Lee Sang-joo is the current President of the Korean Dermatologists Association.

I want anti-ageing, not scar treatment. Is this the right clinic?

Yes. Scar work is what the clinic is famous for in Korea, but anti-ageing — Ultherapy Prime, Thermage FLX, eye lifting and a full skin-booster range — is the larger part of daily practice and is planned with the same analysis-first discipline.

Do I need to speak Korean?

Dr. Lee consults in English and the front desk has basic English. For detailed discussion, or for other languages, the clinic arranges a professional interpreter to sit in — say so when you enquire.

Can I be treated on the day I arrive?

For most anti-ageing and booster treatments, yes, after consultation. Scar programmes and tattoo removal are staged over months and are planned around your travel.

Are prices published?

Yes. The price list on this site is the clinic's own; cosmetic treatment carries 10% VAT and scar treatment is VAT-exempt. Shot counts and volumes are confirmed at consultation.

Is there a tax refund?

No. Korea's medical tax refund for foreign patients has ended.
