Thermage FLX (Solta Medical)

What it does

Thermage FLX heats the dermis uniformly with radiofrequency. Collagen contracts immediately and continues to remodel over the following months, which is why it is the tightening rather than the lifting platform: it firms skin texture, crepiness and pore-driven roughness as well as laxity.

Where it earns its place

Eyelid and periorbital skin, the lower face where the jawline has softened, and skin that is thin or sensitive. The FLX tip vibrates and cools during delivery, so most sessions run on topical numbing alone.

Results and combination

Change develops over two to three months and is generally maintained for a year or more. The clinic's signature combination pairs Thermage FLX on the surface with Ultherapy Prime on the SMAS, followed by a skin booster and a Dermotoxin pass — planned as one programme.
