How pigment is treated here

Melasma worsens under aggressive energy, so toning is run conservatively and as a course, with in-clinic care and sun protection treated as part of the protocol. PicoWay fragments pigment with picosecond pulses and less heat; nanosecond toning, Gold-Diamond toning and BBL are combined where the pigment type calls for it.

Epidermal lesions

Freckles, lentigines and seborrheic keratoses are treated separately — BBL, Nd:YAG, Ripot or ultra-CO2 by lesion — rather than folded into a toning course. The Perfect Ripot programme (from ₩1,500,000, both cheeks) is the clinic's lesion-clearing protocol for heavier cases.

Results

Courses are typically ten sessions with skincare in between. The clinic publishes long-term melasma cases treated over fifteen sessions; improvement is gradual and maintenance matters.

Why so many sessions?

Because melasma is a barrier-and-vascular condition as much as a pigment one. Fewer, harder sessions rebound; a conservative course holds.
