GOURI

What it is

GOURI is polycaprolactone in liquid rather than microsphere form. Because it is not particulate it spreads across the treatment field rather than sitting where it was placed, and the nodule risk associated with particle stimulators is reduced. It prompts fibroblasts to produce new collagen, improving elasticity, texture and pore density.

What to expect

Bruising, swelling or redness for a few days. Saunas, hard exercise and alcohol are avoided for about a week. The collagen response builds over the following months and the effect is generally maintained for six months or more.

GOURI or Sculptra?
Both stimulate collagen. GOURI is liquid and distributes across the field; particle stimulators build volume more locally. The dermatologist chooses by the face.
